Frequently Asked Questions
-
What is the dress code?Above all else we want you to be comfortable! It's a wedding, but also a barbecue. Guests should aim for attire that complements the laid-back yet stylish vibe of the occasion. No need to go out and purchase new attire or cowboy boots! General Tips: Avoid overly formal attire: It’s a barn wedding with a casual, country vibe, so formal wear like tuxedos or cocktail dresses would feel out of place. Consider the environment: Since it's the ceremony is outdoors, the ground might be uneven, avoid high heels or delicate fabrics. Stay in theme: Rustic, country-chic attire works best, but balance comfort and style based on the weather and venue conditions. There is no A/C or heat in the barn. Women: Dresses or skirts: Opt for flowy dresses or skirts in earthy tones, jewel tones, or soft neutrals. Floral patterns or lace details would work well. Avoid white or shades too close to the bride’s dress. Footwear: Ankle boots, flats, or sandals are good options for comfort. Cowboy boots are welcome. Outerwear: Depending on the weather, a jacket or shawl would be a good addition. Men: Shirts: A button-down shirt in a neutral or plaid pattern works great. Pants: Dark jeans or khakis would suit the occasion. Make sure the jeans are clean and well-fitted for a polished look. Footwear: Dress boots or leather shoes are appropriate. Cowboy boots are welcome. Outerwear: If the weather is cool, consider a jacket or blazer for a more polished look.
