Many dates and adventures later, we moved in together spring of 2018. With this big move we gathered one giant Christmas tree (not sure how we ever fit that into the apartment), our two crazy cats (Pickle and Cheese), and our kayaks. In December 2018, we celebrated our one year anniversary. 

 

Fast forward to October 2019, we purchased our very first home together in Hartland. We adopted the sweetest dog ever, Dobby. However he sadly passed away only a short year later. 

 

Amidst Covid, we discovered our mutual love for hiking. We made it our goal to hike as much of the Ice Age Trail as we could. During this time we both expanded our other hobbies as well. Ryan immersed himself in his love for drag racing and Kori spent time in the garden. 

 

Our home didn’t feel quite the same after losing Dobby so one day we decided to visit the humane society where we met Moose. We instantly fell in love with the goofy pup and brought him home. Our little family wasn’t done growing quite yet. We also added Waffle to the family giving Cheese his much needed side of fries. 

 

That brings us to the middle of 2023. We started the search for our dream property. It didn’t take long before we found the perfect home in the Town of Delafield. We crossed our fingers and put in an offer. At the end of July we signed the papers and took the long drive from West Bend down to our new home. After walking through the house and strolling through our new wooded area, Ryan got down on one knee and proposed. 

 

We spent the next few weeks packing up our house in Hartland and enjoying our newly engaged status. Together with Moose, Cheeseburger, Waffle Fry, and Ryan’s assortment of fish we now call Delafield home. We are so excited for this next chapter of our lives and all the adventures that will come with it. Here’s to seven years of life together and many more to come!
